Buskers wanted for city bazaar

On Sunday 30 December the city centre will be transformed into a huge bazaar market and Rotorua District Council is on the look-out for local buskers to entertain the masses.
Road closures will be in place along Tutanekai Street for the 'Buskers & Bazaar' event. The area will be filled with food, crafts and collectables stalls, as well as games, challenges and activities for the Rotorua community and visitors to participate in.
Local buskers will also be performing street theatre and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Market-goers will have the opportunity to check out the array of entertainment and vote for their favourite busker on the day.
Prizes are up for grabs for both buskers and voters.
Buskers & Bazaar runs from 11am until 3pm and is part of Rotorua's three-day New Year's Eve 'Glo Festival' from 30 December 2012 to 1 January 2013.
