Get Sustainable Challenge
Council is a member of the Sustainable Business Network (SBN), an organisation that encourages and supports sustainable business practices and processes.
Each year SBN runs a national competition called the Get Sustainable Challenge. The competition involves an assessment of how well the organisation is performing under various sustainability criteria. Competing organisations are divided into small and large and business and not-for-profit categories.
RDC has entered this competion for the past three years, winning the Not-for-Profit Trailblazer Award in 2008.
