Rotorua Eastern Arterial Project
REA – ROTORUA EASTERN ARTERIAL CORRIDOR - INVESTIGATION
This project plans to provide a new highway route to reduce congestion and improve freight links between the Sala St Intersection with Amohau St and the Rotorua International Airport.
This phase of work will involve geotechnical work, survey and preliminary Design. It will also review land requirements and impacts onto the eastern suburbs. Resource consent and designation processes may also be commenced. The Investigation phase will likely last 18 months (starting June 2010).
