Management
The elected council’s main relationship is with its chief executive officer. The mayor and councillors employ the chief executive officer.
The chief executive officer is responsible for employing all other council staff and for setting up and maintaining Council’s operational structure.

In addition to the Chief Executive Group there are three key operational groups, each headed by a Group Manager reporting directly to the Chief Executive.
