Fees
You may park on a metered parking space all day as long as you continue to feed the meter.
Parking Meters are active between the following hours:

9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

9.00 am – 12.00 pm Saturday
Rotorua District Council CBD parking charges are determined by low and high volume areas. Zone fees include:

Eruera St, Hinemoa, Pukuatua and parts of Tutanekai Sts: $2.00 per hour.

CBD parking outside the central strip will be: $1.00 per hour.

The meters are able to take all denominations of NZ coin. e.g. 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, $2.
Pay and display machine
There are pay and display machines in Haupapa Street, in the parking area outside Council’s Civic Centre and the Returned Services Association and at the rear of the RDC on Hinemaru St; at the western end of Pukuatua Street and outside the Body Shop on Tutanekai Street. Costs are the same as parking meter fees.
Display your ticket, print side up, on the dashboard of your vehicle, or in a prominent place where it is clearly visible from outside the vehicle and close to the front windscreen.
Faults
If you find a fault with a parking meter or the pay and display machine, please let Council know as soon as possible.
