Environmental Laboratory
The Rotorua District Council Laboratory aims to provide a quality, IANZ accredited and MoH approved laboratory service to help meet our customers’ needs, and can provide a timely drinking (potable) water, wastewater, and environmental water analysis for public health, industrial / resource consent monitoring needs, or for some peace of mind. We hold accreditation for both chemical and microbiological testing.
We also recognise that customer needs go beyond analysis, and we pride ourselves in our high levels of customer service and customised electronic methods of data transfer. The laboratory can also provide sampling services if required.
The RDC Environmental Laboratory has a wide customer base ranging from local authorities, engineering consultants, private companies, developers, rural schools and small community water schemes.
The laboratory conducts sampling and analysis for reticulated water supply within the Rotorua district.
