Water Supply Operations and Management
– Maintenance and Operations of all water supply networks, pump stations and reservoirs.

Water Supply Tours
– Castlecorp conducts tours of the main city water supply for school and service groups.

Wastewater Network Maintenance
– Maintenance of Wastewater network and Forest Irrigation Disposal Scheme

Refuse and Litter Collection
– Delivery and collection of rubbish bags, and emptying rubbish bins within the urban areas.

Land Drainage Maintenance
– inspection and maintenance of urban streams and open drains, and all piped drains.

Footpath and Verge Maintenance
– Inspection and maintenance of footpaths and walkways.

Janitorial Services
– cleaning and servicing some public toilets and urban reserve toilets.

Reserves & Structures Maintenance
– Mowing reserves and maintaining beach areas, and maintaining playgrounds, fences, jetties, board walks and BBQs.

Sports Fields and Stadium Maintenance
– Maintenance of all sports fields and grounds including Rotorua International Stadium.

– maintenance, planting and weeding of all public gardens including CBD, Government Gardens, Kuirau Park and Murray Linton Rose Gardens.

– Maintaining urban street trees, traffic islands, bark gardens and reserve trees.

Cemeteries and Crematorium
– Management and maintenance of all cemeteries and crematorium, inluding burials.

Fleet Maintenance
– Purchase, maintenance and disposal of all vehicles and small plant for the Rotorua District Council.

Rural Fire Fighting
– Prevention, suppression and control of fires in the rural area.
