Rotorua District Library has one central city library and one mobile library providing library services to the Rotorua District.
We maintain an excellent library service to enhance the lives of the community we serve.
Providing information and entertainment from a variety of media, the library is constantly evolving to meet the diverse needs of our changing times.
It is free for Rotorua residents and ratepayers as well as those who live within the InfoShare bundaries (Whakatane, Western Bay of Plenty).

Location
- 1127 Haupapa Street, Rotorua.
- Pedestrian access is from either Haupapa or Arawa Streets. Vehicle access is only from Haupapa Street.
- A limited number of free 30 minute parking spaces are available in the one way lane next to the library.
- Metered parking is available on both Haupapa and Arawa Streets.
