The Rotorua Wastewater Reticulation Network covers an area of approximately 3150 hectares, from Rotorua Airport through to all suburban areas including Ngongotaha and the Atiamuri Landfill, serving a connected population of 60,000 people.
This network conveys an average of 19,000m3 or 19,000,000 litres of wastewater per day to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, through approximately 500 kms of pipe, 7000 manholes and 53 Wastewater Pump Stations.
