Council has a commitment to producing high quality information about Rotorua's social fabric and trends. Key social indicators are monitored on an ongoing basis, and every five years Council prepares updated Census reports. Social research is also undertaken to inform Council and the community on specific areas of interest, and as a basis for developing policy.
