PDF document in this website will be indicated as an icon with the letters PDF and the size of the file, ( e.g - (100KB) filename.pdf). Clicking on the icon will open the file. Once it has been fully opened, you can view, print or save the file.
To print or save a PDF document, use the buttons near the left end of the Adobe Reader toolbar (NOT the web browser toolbar). To save a PDF file, use the 'Save' button near the end of the Adobe toolbar (NOT the web browser toolbar).
Please be aware that many of these PDF files, in particular the reports and maps, are large in size and may take considerable time to open and read online
(For example, a 5,120KB (5MB) file will take approximately 21 minutes to download, on a 56k modem on a home telephone line.)
To download a PDF file to your PC, use the right mouse button to click over the link to access a links menu.
If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer choose "Save Target As..." (If you use Netscape Navigator then choose "Save Link As..." ) from the menu to save the file into your PC for future viewing.
You will note that the FREE Adobe Reader download program is available on every page of this web site, except the home page. You can view the download program, below the 'print text' icon on the right hand side of the screen.
