Community Safety
Safety is a key aspect of community well-being. A safe community takes active steps to prevent crime and to provide an environment in which residents can participate fully.
Consultation with the Rotorua community in 2003 and 2008 showed that 'a safe and caring community' was the most important community outcome for Rotorua residents.
