About the TrustPower Spirit of Rotorua Awards
The TrustPower Spirit of Rotorua Awards, run by Rotorua District Council in partnership with TrustPower, were introduced in 1998 to recognise the outstanding contribution voluntary organisations make to our community.
TrustPower sponsors prizes for the five categories which are Heritage & Environment, Community Health & Wellbeing, Community Arts & Culture, Community Sport & Leisure, Education & Child/Youth Development, as well as a major prize for the Supreme Winner.
The most recent TrustPower Spirit of Rotorua Awards were held on 9 November 2009.
