Rotorua District Council (RDC) is responsible for the provision and management of community recreation facilities. This is Rotorua District Councils third generation Recreation and Community Facilities Asset Management Plan (AMP).
It provides a long-term view of Asset Management (AM) requirements and specific work programmes for the next 10 years. This initial plan is based on existing levels of service, current related information and Council staff knowledge.
The AMP will be reviewed annually to incorporate changes that result from the AM improvement programme improved decision making techniques, changes in asset information and knowledge of customer expectations.
